I just got home a little while ago from a concert with Samputu and Ingeli. They are a group of three men from Rwanda who were a part of Unity Week here at NAU. I am soooo glad that I went to their concert. The music reminded me of Kenya so much, and for the last half hour or so, they had us all up on our feet dancing. It was so cool, because they shared the message of God's forgiveness and healing in their lives and encouraged others to seek the same. A lot of the songs were about God (which I only know because of my limited knowledge of Swahili!) I think there were probably a lot of unbelievers there, since this is not an overly Christian-saturated campus...so PRAISE GOD for the ministry opportunity that they had tonight! The music was so wonderfully powerful, and their message was so uplifting. In spite of the fact that I've been sick with a nasty cold for the past couple days, I danced to praise my Jesus and felt great! Bwana asifiwe!
