Odinga and Kibaki have finally reached an agreement about power sharing! Praise the Lord! This doesn't take Kenya completely out of the woods, but it as a chance for peace, as this AP News article states. Please continue to keep the country in your prayers, as the implementation of this agreement will be vital to the move toward peace. Pray for healing in the hearts of neighbors who became enemies in this conflict. Pray for children who lost their parents, families who lost their homes, and the people of Kenya as a whole, who lost more than I have adequate words to say. This is a giant step forward, but it is only a step. The journey is not over yet, but we can rejoice in this victory for now. Bwana asifiwe!!!
